2013 Blog-Year In Review

If a concert were held at the Sydney Opera House for all the people who read our blog last year, it would take 18 sold-out performances to accommodate everyone. Not too bad for a grass-roots blog.

We had 32 new posts, Facebook was our top referring site, we were read in 62 different countries, and our most popular posts were on resumes, job search techniques, unemployment, WorkInTexas.com going mobile, and (unfortunately) tips to avoid job posting scams.

We have a lot planned for 2014 and as the year goes we’ll detail many of those plans. Most notably we’re going to revisit the way in which we connect (i.e. “match”) employers and job seekers. We believe we can do it better. And while we don’t know exactly what that will look like yet, we are excited about the opportunities.

If you have things you’d like to see done, please let us know.

Thanks for your support.
